How much are registration fees for my child?
For children from 6-18 years old, fees are $400 for the year.
MiniRoos Kick-off (4-5 years old) is a flat fee of $190.
For volunteer parents, we offer a $60 discount on $400 registration fees. This discount will be refunded to volunteer parents at the end of the year.
To be eligible for the volunteer discount, parents need to be involved in:
- Refereeing (younger games)
- Running the line (older games)
- Helping out at one of our registration days
- Helping out at a Club fundraiser (eg: Bunnings sausage sizzle)
- Helping out at our end-of-year wind-up day
(Please note: It does not include bringing oranges or helping set up/pack away nets for your team). For more information about how you can help volunteer, please email info@belmontcityfc.com.au.
What is covered in my fees?
During the season, your child will receive weekly training and coaching from a dedicated Coach, including a game day held against another team each Sunday. Your child will also receive:
- A Belmont City Football Club soccer playing top
- Team photos
- Medals and/or trophies (where applicable)
- Training 1-2 times per week, with full use of the Club's sporting equipment and grounds at Miles Park
- An end-of-season wind-up day in September, with free activities and entertainment
Your fees also cover Club running costs, such as balls, nets and training equipment, the hiring of Miles Park and its clubrooms, pitch lighting (during Winter), first aid kits and ongoing pitch maintenance.
Are there any other additional costs?
The Club provides a BCFC soccer top. However, the rest of the soccer ‘kit’ (uniform) needs to be purchased:
- Shorts and socks (for 6–18 year olds) - to be purchased from the Club on Kit Day early in the season ($22 for shorts, $11 for socks, or $30 for both)
- Shin pads (mandatory for safety reasons) - can be purchased from the Club for $10, or other sports stores
- Soccer boots – from a retailer of your choice
- Water bottle - to be brought to training days and games
When and where is the training?
All our teams train primarily at Miles Park (cnr Wright and Belgravia Streets, Cloverdale), some teams will also use Gerry Archer Reserve (crn Abernethy Rd and Leach Hwy, Cloverdale).
Training will be held during the evenings between Monday and Friday and runs for 1-2 hours, once or twice a week. Ask your coach for more details.
When and where are the games?
8-18 year olds - Our games are held on Sunday mornings between April and September. Times and locations vary, and are posted on the Football West website or the Squadi mobile app. Games are held both at home (Miles Park) and away (at other Club grounds in Perth).
6-7 year olds - These teams travel to other grounds over the course of the season. Times and dates to be advised by the coaches. They are not available on the Squadi mobile app.
4-5 years old (MiniRoos Kick-off) - This team plays on Friday nights at Miles Park only. Times to be advised by the coach.
How long does the season run for?
The soccer season runs from April to September. For juniors (13-18 year olds), September also has finals games. Our Club has had teams in several grand finals over the years.
Does it matter if my child hasn't played before?
Not at all! We will provide your child with comprehensive coaching support to help them develop their soccer skills, make new friends and have fun!
